This has been sitting in my sketchbook for about four years now, figured I'd bring it out for show. I drew this as an assignment that was meant to emphasize the technique of stippling, which is the sense of high realism through use of dots. The illusion of texture, value, pattern, and intensity are created by arranging the dots strategically in varying proximity of each other. Was an extremely tedious and focused 7-hr process.. The shadows, the vest, the jacket - all dots. Your girl ain't about cheatin the system (at least when it comes to art).
Anybody who knows me knows Ye's always been one of my favourite artists.
